It should come as no surprise to you that Government, the FDA and Big Pharma are conspiring against you. Again.

The latest travesty is the bill going to congress, the “Safe Drug Compounding Act of 2007” that makes many natural compounds and medications from a compounding pharmacist illegal.

A compounding pharmacist is a specialist who can mix, blend and prepare customized medications and dosages according to your doctors instructions. This is used instead of the "one size fits all" thinking. Think of it this way. If you need 10mg of a medication and Big Pharma only sells it in 25mg dosages - tough luck. You'll HAVE to take more than needed if this bill passes.

The issues are:

	the right of the consumer to choose and the practitioner to practice
	money (surprise)

	The drug companies pay the FDA to approve thier drugs
	When doctors use compounding pharmacists, there is no money for the drug companies

Federal regulators, not your doctor, will decide what medicines you can take. They'll also determine if, when, and how much of any compound you may take. I don't want that. I see my doctor for a reason. He knows me and I trust him to do what's right for me.

According to the Washington, D.C. political magazine Congressional Quarterly, pharmaceutical manufacturers are in “high lobby mode” in support of this legislation.

What would the FDA want?

What would Big Pharma want? 

What would Government want?

What do YOU want?

What can you do? Write your congressman. Tell your friends. We need to stop this before it passes into law. We need to make our own choices and not let strangers make them for us.
